A Wealth of Veterinary Experience at Your Service!

At General Veterinary Hospitals, we look forward to welcoming you, your dog, cat, other pets and Farm Animals. Everyone on our staff believes that the better we get to know your pets, the better we can provide the best possible health care for them. In fact, when you come in, you’ll see exactly why our veterinarians are praised for their kind and thorough care. We’ll give you and your pet all the time you need, and never rush through an exam. We’ll also carefully track the course of your pet’s care, which is so important to your pet’s long-term health. In every case, you’ll be served by experienced, knowledgeable members of our staff. Our veterinarians, veterinary technicians and other pet-friendly personnel are trained to the highest standards. Their knowledge of the latest veterinary medicines and procedures ensures that all our pet patients get the best in prevention and healing methods before your first visit, please gather any previous medical or adoption records you may have for your pet. Your veterinarian needs this information to get an accurate record of your pet’s medical history and to create the best treatment plan for your pet. When you visit the clinic, please bring your pet in a carrier or on a leash. This will prevent any incidents with other animals that may also be in the lobby. When it is time for your appointment, one of our Veterinary Technicians will escort you and your pet to an exam room where he will ask you some questions regarding your visit. Weight, temperature, and a quick check of your pet might happen at this time as well. When the veterinarian examines your pet, he will take the time to listen and ask questions so he can understand your concerns. He will also perform a physical examination of your pet – checking his eyes, ears, and mouth and listening to his heart – and will ask you questions about his habits and activities. We are excited about meeting you and your pet. We will always strive to provide the level of care that you both deserve. Should you have any questions about your upcoming visit or procedure, please do not hesitate to call us.
